Bee Frontier vs Bee Eclipse: Which One Should You Buy?
Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse run the same software, feed the same app and use the same Bee Pro subscription. The difference is where the microphones live — and that shapes everything else.

Choose Bee Frontier if…
- You move around a lot. Site visits, retail floors, hospital rounds, classrooms — places where your phone is in a pocket or a locker.
- You want it on you all day without thinking about it.
- Water is a concern. Frontier is IP67; Eclipse has no published rating.
- You want the cheaper entry point ($74.99) and can buy now (in the US).
Choose Bee Eclipse if…
- Your important conversations are calls. Eclipse is the model built for calls, with a consent prompt each time.
- You dislike wearing gadgets, or already wear a smartwatch.
- You charge things rarely. 21+ days versus up to 7.
- Your meetings happen around a table, where a phone placed face-down puts the mics in the middle of the group.
Points that apply to both
- Neither has a screen. Everything happens in the Bee app.
- The free tier is the same: summaries, recaps and 14-day memory.
- Both rely on the cloud (Bee Private Compute). With no connection, expect no summaries.
- Neither tells bystanders much. Both lights are small.
Our take
For most people who want to try an AI memory device, Frontier is the sensible start: cheaper, available now, tougher. Eclipse is the better tool for professionals whose work happens on the phone — sales, recruiting, consulting — provided they handle consent properly. If you are outside the US, read our India guide before buying either.
